Albany
is a charitable foundation established in 1958 to
promote psychosexual health and emotional well-being
through counselling, education and research. We
were one of the UK's first organisations
to deal with and recognise the importance
of psychosexual health. |

Albany
is a team of qualified counsellors and
psychotherapists who are on the UKCP
Register and are members of national
recognised bodies such as BACP (British
Association for Counselling and
Psychotherapy) and BASRT (British
Association for Sexual and Relationship
Therapy). |

Albany's
work helped to pioneer the growth of
psychosexual counselling. Our
practitioners offer a range of
theoretical approaches, and come from
diverse backgrounds and life
experiences. Our continued commitment
is towards creating a better climate for
more open and honest relationships, as
well as increasing understanding and
valuing the diversity of human
sexuality. |
